AN A–Z OF THEMED, PUPPET-BASED LESSONS
This is an ongoing project – a work in progress
We’re going to be adding ideas for themed puppet-based lessons as we go, so sorry if it’s not all there yet.
The lesson plans won’t all be dependent on puppets, but there will always be a role that the puppets can play.
They’re aimed both at early-years, infant and primary-school teachers who teach English as a second language, and at EFL teachers of younger learners.
Many of the ideas are ones that we’ve designed and written ourselves. Others will be links to useful websites or a variation on something that we’ve seen. Wherever possible, we’ll try to credit the author of the idea, but often it’s impossible as the ideas have gone through so many changes. Though it would be fair to say that we’re standing on the shoulders of giants!
Anyway, this A to Z of themed, puppet-based lesson plans and ideas will contain such things as worksheets, activities, YouTube links, printables and much, much more! Remember that these ideas are only meant to act as a guide. You know your students better than we do, so we hope to inspire you to adapt these ideas and create your own puppet-based lessons.
